SoftBank will start broadcasting a new TV commercial nationwide from October 12, 2024, featuring a collaboration between Masahiro Nakai and Hikorohi titled “PayToku Store Manager Apparel”. In this commercial, Nakai, playing the role of the PayToku store manager, humorously introduces the benefits of SoftBank’s “PayToku Unlimited” through light banter with Hikorohi. Additionally, a commercial titled “PayToku Store Manager Cake Shop” featuring a collaboration with Kanji Tsuruta will also be aired simultaneously.

New TV Commercial Story “Paytec Store Manager Apparel” (15 seconds) At the register of an apparel shop. Hikorohi-san, who has come as a customer, hands a sweater to the Paytec store manager (played by Nakai-san) saying, “I’ll take this.” As he folds the sweater, the Paytec store manager says, “This is a memento from my grandma.” Ignoring Hikorohi-san’s confusion about not selling it, the Paytec store manager starts with “With Paytec on your regular purchases…” Both then exclaim “Oh!” looking at the camera. In response, a narration saying “Beneficial! Surprising! Paytec! SoftBank’s rate plans!” accompanies the explanation by the surprised Paytec store manager and Hikorohi-san on how astonishingly PayPay points accumulate. Then, the cheerful Paytec store manager’s grandma suddenly interrupts. “Paytec Store Manager Cake Shop” (15 seconds) At the register of a cake shop. Mr. Tanaka, who purchased a birthday cake with “Kaoru-chan” written on it, is asked by the Paytec store manager, “How many candles shall we put on?” To which Mr. Tanaka replies, “62 candles, please.” In response to the astonished Paytec store manager saying, “Kaoru-chan…,” Mr. Tanaka promptly points at himself saying, “I’m Kaoru-chan.” The Paytec store manager then suddenly starts with “With Paytec on your regular purchases…” Both then exclaim “Oh!” looking at the camera. Following this, a narration saying “Beneficial! Surprising! Paytec! SoftBank’s rate plans!” accompanies the explanation on how surprisingly PayPay points accumulate. The scene shows the store manager counting and placing candles one after another saying “60…, 90…, 120…” and Mr. Tanaka looking bewildered, saying “A bonus? That many?”
