About the TV commercial “Kubota-supported India Tractor” This TV commercial series is the fifth installment of a CM series expressing Kubota’s long-term vision “GMB2030” as a “platform that supports life, committing to a rich society and the circulation of nature.” Under the setting where Nagasawa wakes up to find himself in a particular country, the CM series showcases Kubota’s role in supporting the lives of the people in that country through the perspective of local residents. Following Thailand, Spain, Cambodia, and the United States, this time the setting is India. Nagasawa is amazed by the bustling and energetic market filled with people. He naturally gestures to nod his head sideways (meaning “understood”) when he receives a food order at the food stall where he works. Through a conversation with colleagues, the story unfolds as they realize the role of Kubota’s multipurpose tractors in supporting agricultural production and logistics in India. While the IT and manufacturing industries shine in India, agriculture remains the primary industry, with approximately 54%* of the land being used for agriculture in this agricultural powerhouse. As India became the most populous country in the world in 2023, ensuring stable food supply and increasing yield are key challenges, calling for further mechanization and efficiency in agricultural work. Tractors are commonly used as agricultural machinery for cultivating fields, but in India, they are widely used beyond farming, supporting people’s daily transportation and cargo handling needs.
