McDonald’s Japan Inc. will begin airing a new TV commercial for the classic autumn-winter dessert “Triangle Choco Pie” nationwide from October 8, 2024. In the commercial, in addition to Saori Ito, who has appeared for five consecutive years, NI-KI of the global group ENHYPEN is making his first co-starring appearance. The two express the charm of “Triangle Choco Pie” through a well-coordinated dance performance. This year, the newly introduced “Triangle Choco Pie Sweet Potato and Caramel” is also available, drawing attention as a limited-time product to enjoy the flavors of autumn.

◆Shooting Episode ◇In a studio that evokes autumn, “The season has come!” In early June, Ito-san and NI-KI, dressed in autumn attire, appeared for the filming of a commercial for “Triangle Choco Pie,” marking Ito-san’s 5th consecutive year appearing in the commercial. Ito-san, showing a joyful expression, exclaimed, “The season has come! I’m excited!” On the other hand, NI-KI, participating in his first solo commercial shoot, nervously said, “I couldn’t sleep last night due to being too nervous, but I’m looking forward to it!” Smiling, he approached the filming. Shooting Episode ◇The choreographer was surprised by Ito-san and NI-KI’s speed in learning the dance! Compared to previous series, the highest difficulty HIP-HOP dance routine amazed Ito-san to the point where, upon seeing the choreography for the first time, she thought, “This is impossible!” and almost threw her smartphone. However, she began practicing in the studio on the day of the shoot, and managed to learn it perfectly in a short time, surprising even the professional choreographer!
