NOVA Holdings Corporation has appointed Yu Miyazaki as the new image character for the English conversation service “Ekimae Ryugaku NOVA” and started airing the new TV commercial “Can you speak living words?” nationwide from October 1, 2024. In the commercial, Yu Miyazaki challenges English lines and expresses the charm of English conversation through real experiences of taking NOVA lessons.

■New CM Concept/Reasons for Choosing Yū Miyazaki This CM uses the catchphrase “Can you speak living words?” and features Yū Miyazaki, a rising young actor, embodying our company’s value of “English conversation = Communication” in a straightforward manner. Although Miyazaki was a beginner in English conversation, he took lessons at NOVA before the recording and challenged himself with all English lines in the CM. Moving forward, under NOVA’s support, he will continue to improve his English conversation skills. We believe that Miyazaki’s diligent efforts towards his dreams and goals will resonate with those who are starting to learn English conversation.
