SoftBank will start airing a new commercial featuring Masahiro Nakai and Suzu Hirose, titled “Peitoku Store Manager SoftBank Shop,” nationwide from September 20, 2024. In the commercial, Nakai plays the role of the Peitoku store manager who becomes the manager of the SoftBank Shop, comically responding to outrageous requests from the crew played by Hirose. The commercial also highlights the appeal of the service “New Value Support (Premium)” that allows customers to upgrade to the latest iPhone at a great price.

Lively acting as if the other person is right in front of you For this shoot, after filming several cut possibilities advised by Mr. Hirose in advance, we recorded Mr. Nakai’s reactions in accordance with that advice on a later date. Therefore, on the day of the shoot, both of them had to act with stand-ins, but despite this unique situation, both Mr. Nakai and Mr. Hirose showed outstanding concentration from the first take and delivered performances that were so lively and engaging, it felt as if they were actually interacting with each other. It’s worth noting that Mr. Nakai and Mr. Hirose wore the new uniforms that will be introduced at SoftBank and Y! Mobile shops nationwide starting this winter, adding a touch of realism to the setting of the SoftBank shop with the store manager and crew.
