CM Overview

Kao Corporation will begin airing a new TV commercial for the “Megurizumu Steam Hot Eye Mask” titled “The Me-Time of Meg”. Starting from September 10, 2024. The commercial features puzzle creator Ryo Matsumaru, comedian Rarando Sayo, and M-1 Grand Prix champion Kuruma Takahirakuru, showcasing how they use Megurizumu during their relaxed late-night moments as “Team Revenge Night Owls” to experience the comfort of “Megurichii”. Scenes of each of the three relaxing according to their hobbies and their relaxed expressions off-screen are highlights of the commercial.

In commercials, I may be falling asleep while playing games, but that’s truly the usual me (laughs). Since I’m busy with work during the day, I reserve late nights for my hobby of playing games and spending time with my cat, Lido, whom I live with. On days like that, I always make sure to put on Megurizumu for a relaxing time. It feels really nice, so I make sure to use it regularly!

<Saya’s Comment>

I’ve been eagerly waiting for this day to come. I used Megurizumu the day before recordings, during and after shoots, and while moving between festivals, so I wonder if someone on the team has seen me using it at some point. Even during the CM shoot, I found myself relaxing and experiencing a moment of falling asleep like Megu.

I consider myself outdoorsy, and I really enjoy cycling as a hobby, but I also love leisurely reading manga at home just as much… Recently, I’ve been completely hooked on a certain manga and end up engrossed in it until around 2 in the morning. During filming, I might be “falling asleep” on the couch but the focus is on my feet and shoulders. Although eye masks are good, the stick-on type was also excellent. I think Megurizumu’s appeal lies in its versatility that allows you to use it anytime, anywhere. So, everyone, enjoy your hobbies while fully embracing the experience of falling into a deep sleep!
