Asahi Beverages Co., Ltd. will start broadcasting nationwide two new TV commercials, “Sleep and Gut Care” version and “Immune Support” version, featuring Masami Nagasawa, for the “PLUS Calpis” series starting on April 30, 2024. In the new commercials, Masami Nagasawa will introduce the appeal of the new health care series under the “Calpis” brand.

Career Beginnings
Masami Nagasawa’s career began when she won the Grand Prix at the 5th Toho Cinderella Audition in 2000, debuting at the age of 12. She made her film debut in “Cross Fire” (2000) and gained widespread recognition in 2004 for her role as the heroine in “Crying Out Love in the Center of the World.” Her performance in this film earned her critical acclaim and the prestigious Japan Academy Prize for Best Supporting Actress.
