CM Overview

Yasuko will appear in the new Suntory “Craft Boss” commercial “Alien Jones – Workplace” which will begin airing on May 20, 2024. This commercial, the 88th in the Alien Jones series, features Yasuko crawling forward and the comical exchanges with the other co-stars. Koji Yakusho, Hana Sugisaki, Ryunosuke Kamiki, and Sakura Ando also appear in the commercial, which tells a profound yet comical story.

Yasuko is a Japanese comedian whose real name is Yasui Kanon. She was born on September 2, 1998 in Ube, Yamaguchi Prefecture. She is affiliated with WAHAHA Honpo.

Yasuko joined the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force after graduating from Yamaguchi Prefectural Ube Chuo High School. The new commercial “Alien Jones – Workplace” features Yasuko crawling forward and engaging in comical scenes with the other co-stars. During filming, Yasuko was nervous, which caused her to speak her lines too quickly and her movements to become unnatural, but with the encouragement of her co-stars, she recovered and repeatedly said “Yes!” with a carefree smile. Yasuko said, “Yakusho-san’s aura was so overwhelming that I couldn’t look him in the eye,” and recalled that it was a fun filming location.
