Plenus Co., Ltd. will begin airing the new “Hotto Motto” TV commercial “HOT MORE! Koga Player Online Order Edition” nationwide from June 7, 2024. In the new commercial, scenes of Sarina Koga attacking and receiving a volleyball are alternated with scenes of her cooking a “Chicken Nanban Bento.” The convenience of online ordering is also emphasized.

Sarina Koga
**Sarina Koga** is a Japanese volleyball player born on May 21, 1996 in Kumamoto Prefecture. She currently plays for the NEC Red Rockets and is also the captain of the Japan Women’s National Team.
History and Career
Early Career
Koga attended Kumamoto Shinai Girls’ High School and served as captain. He showed his talent while still in high school, and won the MVP and best scorer awards at the 9th Asian Youth Championship in 2012, contributing to the Japanese team’s fourth consecutive victory.
NEC Red Rockets
He joined the NEC Red Rockets in January 2015 and made his debut in the V-League that same year. Koga won the Best Newcomer award in the league that year, and won the Most Valuable Player award and Best 6 award in the 2016-17 season.
International competitions
Koga has also played for the Japanese national team, winning the Best Receiver award at the 2015 World Cup. He has also won the Most Valuable Player award and Best 6 award in the 2020-21 season, 2022-23 season, and 2023-24 season.
Private life
In 2022, he married Nishida Yuji, a member of the Japanese men’s national volleyball team. The two are attracting attention as a couple in the volleyball world.
